Maibaum or Mother's Day
It was a really difficult decision, between attending the German hotel's Maifest Party or their Sunday Brunch for Mother's Day last week. Really it was. Maibock or Sekt?
Brunch won out (it did have children's entertainment and a wider variety of food). We were seated in view of the Bierhaus and Maibaum, as luck would have it. A few times we caught ourselves humming the song in this video. "Wenn der Maibaum wieder am Dorfplatz steht."
Once the rain stopped, I rushed the kids to said Maibaum for a picture. So really, we experienced the best of both options.
