We sang Luke 23:46 as our responsorial. 父啊！我把灵魂交在你手里。Fù a! Wǒ bǎ línghún jiāo zài nǐ shǒu lǐ.

In three and a half hours at church on Friday, we certainly had our share of kneeling and even crawling on our knees, and mostly on hard surfaces. Later, at home, all I had to do was intone "大家跪下" and Myles would whimper (but he obviously learned some new Chinese words). As much as we love Good Friday in China, it feels good to be done.
