Over the Christmas holidays we were shopping at a Pittsburgh area Dick's Sporting Goods. We were mostly looking for Pittsburgh team gear for Christmas presents, but we noticed they already were stocking the shelves for World Cup soccer jerseys. There were many racks of Team USA t-shirts and other gear.
What was particularly interesting to me were the kit from countries other than the US that were also prominently displayed. Like in China, where Team Argentina seems to reign supreme during the men's World Cup Years, it seems that there is a market for other countries' shirts in Pittsburgh as well.
Countries like Spain and Mexico
Argentina and Germany
Most of the merchandise was Team USA, but at least a few other nations were represented as well.
