Like a demon that has been purged
For baseball fans of teams other than the Pirates, there seems to be a bit of misunderstanding why the Pirates and their fans are celebrating last night's win over the Cubs. The Buccos are now guaranteed a play-off berth, though whether this as a one-shot Wild Card play-in or as division leader will decided over the next week. Sure, it's been a twenty-one year drought for the Pirates, but was it too early to pop the champagne?
