Switzerland
This was our second time in this part of Switzerland, in the Canton of Zürich. While Randy had his meetings all day, the kids and I walked up the hill from our hotel to the castle village of Regensberg.

Regensberg was mostly the same for us as last time, except Brigid could climb to the top of the tower with us.
From the top, we had a decent view for a rainy day.
We headed back to the hotel via a different Wanderweg than we came up.
The kids saw several giant snails. Well, giant to us. I threw a penny on the ground to get a sense of the size.
And a heavily wooded area in between farms and vineyards, carpeted with white flowers.
By the time we returned to our room, the kids and I were cold, wet, and a little tired. I let them play quietly in the room for a while rather than push them out to so some more sightseeing.
I sent Randy a message, hoping he would get it while he was still in his meeting. "I want fondue," I messaged him.
Later when he was done, he told me he asked several people with whom he was meeting about my request. The problem, he told me was that fondue in Switzerland is like cat. Oh, a winter food.
"However," he said, "There is a restaurant nearby we can try and see. It isn't fondue season, but if they have it, it will be very good."
That evening we went in search of out-of-season fondue. My hopes were up, especially since it was so cold and rainy. Even if May was not the right time of year for fondue, it sure felt like it to me.
