Seems a little early for this
But I think I need to start my spring Heat Watch.
On Wednesday, our week-long smogginess was interrupted briefly by clear skies and some warm temperatures. It was so warm in fact, our heat was shut off during the day.
It was turned back on by evening, and has been on since then.
It is now March. While the official turn-off date is March 15, we've seen deviation in the past from both the start and the end of heating season. So, air quality permitting, our eyes are on the output of the smokestacks. I will soon give in to my OCD and touch every radiator I pass.
