There will be heat and rumors of heat

Yesterday, we heard a rumor about the heat from one of our local black cab drivers. Changping heat was going to be turned on in the middle of the night of November 3rd so on November 4th we wake up to warm apartments. Rumors from these sources previously have turned out to be correct before, but we'll see. Down in Beijing so many other apartment complexes have had their heat turned on that I can't believe that can't extend that just a few more miles north.

Meanwhile, in those parts of Beijing that have them, Starbucks has posted this announcement.



I saw this sign on Halloween. I wonder which will come first, Changping heat or Starbucks Christmas.
