For a few weeks, we've been practicing with Brigid how to say in Chinese the age she would be after her next birthday. She was ready to turn four. All we needed to do was make it official.
Yes, cake identical to her brother's, with the exception of the giant "4." It is what she wanted.
Also like her brother, she asked for a pair of binoculars for her birthday, replacing the previously requested (but impossible to find EXACTLY here) a specific My Little Pony. More like her mother, Brigid had her eye on a small Starbucks cup for more than a month. She was happy to receive these and The Pigeon Wants a Puppy.
