Instant nostalgia

I recently bought a new phone, one I chose specifically for the camera (8 mp) and the operating system (Android--so long Symbian). The combination of these two features has allowed me to get a vintage camera app on my phone which is, of course, much too fun. One sunny afternoon last week we met some friends at the local park, and enjoyed a boat ride on the small lake. The vintage camera pictures captured the afternoon in a way that made me feel melancholy for moments only just passed.
