What an American looks like

Last month when we were in Shenzhen, we were asked by one of the taxi drivers where we were from originally.  This is a common question. Randy answered that we were Americans.

The driver was excited, clearly pleased with his assessment.  He knew as soon as he saw us that we were Americans.  We parents were fat, he said, and our children were beautiful.  That's how he could tell, he said.

We don't quite match up with the wax-doll Americans Adam saw at the Expo, but with all those chips they may soon catch up.
