中秋节快乐

We're in the middle of the legal holiday for Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhong qiu jie), or as some refer to it, the Mooncake holiday.  I've blogged in years past about mid-Autumn Festival, and this post from two years ago has at the end of it a picture of the melancholy feeling I associate with this holiday.

This year Randy once again has three days off from work.  Well, sort of.  He had to work last Sunday and again this Saturday in exchange for Thursday and Friday.  It's an odd system and I can't even begin to explain it.

This was our view of the full moon tonight as we ate dinner out in the Changyucun.  We don't need to look at the moon to miss the people we love, but there it was anyway.
