As a teen I was intrigued by the Gargoyles (remember how much of a fan I am of The Crow) and how they were used to keep spirits out. At the time they were in fashion in outdoor decorating too so I begged my mother for two of them to put outside my bedroom door to keep the three evil spirits I was forced to share a bathroom with out of my room. Never happened. For years while in college and later after being married and having our own home, I couldn't find them. Last October, I wandered into the Dollar Tree and there they were with Halloween decorations. I keep them inside, I'm too afraid to lose them again.
