Celebrating the Fourth of July
Did everyone have a lovely 4th of July?
I considered buying some patriotic t-shirts at a something-Mart, and just like last year, I found they weren't made in the USA. But for the people for whom these things matter, they weren't made in China, either.
The evening of the Fourth we went to a church parking lot and watched some fireworks. Even though we've been through the barrage of Chinese New Year several times, Myles still enjoyed the slower paced, one-at-a-time fireworks of small town America.
Even later, we set off a few Pennsylvania legal fireworks. Not at all like Chinese New Year, but to Myles, just as thrilling.
