ARGENTINA!!!!! he says

When I asked Myles who he thought would win the World Cup this year, he said with absolute certainty, "Argentina!!!"  I thought maybe it had to do with his knowing that Argentina plays outstanding fútbol, or that they have a bit of a following in China.

I let him stay up to watch the first half of the Argentina-Nigeria game tonight.  Through the half, which included that first Argentina goal (game is still in progress and 1-0 as I type this), Myles was alternating between, "Come on, Argentina!" and "¡Vamos!"  He's only just learned to say that, asking me the other day how to say 加油 in Spanish.  It wasn't long before one of his cheers revealed to me what was really behind his new found love of Team Argentina.

"Come on, Argentina," he cheered. "Win it! Let's win it for the Argentinosaurus!"

Yup. Even when it isn't about dinosaurs, it is totally about dinosaurs.
