A blog post I wrote a few weeks ago, True Ambrose confession, was recently featured on the podcast M and MX Radio. The dramatic reading I think really captures my verge-of-a-nervous-breakdown vibe. The second story, coming from Xinjiang province, is really great, too, and funny in that way that only the most frustrating experiences can be, or rather, have to be to keep from completely losing it.
And speaking of foreigners, I'd like to recommend a Beijing Kids magazine column written by a local American expat, Donna Gorman of the Email from the Embassy blog, about her experiences in her neighborhood in Beijing. I know that I've been pretty candid in my blogging about my dealings in the expat community in Shenzhen, sometimes positively and sometimes not so much. Donna's column is a great contrast to that--she actually experiences a sense of a supporting community.

I liked the second one two... Dealing with those damn companies isn't any easier in the US. I think they are on another planet. One where human interaction is a very new thing...
