I still won't drive
We really do enjoy the freedom having a car at our disposal to drive around as we please. In the next few days I hope to have a post or two up about a driving adventure we took up to Hebei province today.
I am, however, still not going to be getting a license of my own soon, or if I do, I won't be driving. I've posted before how insane some of the smaller two-lane countryside highways can be. The major highways aren't much better.
This weekend in particular we found ourselves being passed on the right while we've been cruising in the right lane. Yes, people have been passing us using a non-lane. Never mind that trucks may be pulled over there, or other cars needing to change a tire.
I do not have the nerves or the reflexes or even the peripheral vision to deal with this as a driver. Being a passenger is doing wonders for my prayer life.
