Oh, great

Via Donna, the US Department of State has issued a cautionary statement about travelling to China right now. We don't leave for another two weeks but I'm still a little nervous about the possibility of quarantine.

Almost all of the expat China bloggers I read who have recently been to America have been quarantined. I think one had to stay in a hotel a couple days, but then just had to stay in his apartment for a week or so & he didn't have any flu symptoms. He wasn't complaining at all, heh. Though I think it's a little easier to go stir-crazy with children in the mix!

I read another who was flying from.. Japan I think & they sat next to someone who *was* sick on the flight, and they were amazed that they weren't quarantined at all, I think they just called at some point to see if they had developed any symptoms.
