Eclipse in Sheshan

I tweeted the other day that Adam had the best location for watching the eclipse, even with the rain. His more detailed report on the Atlantic website is fantastic. Mom and Sue, you will especially want to take note.

Thanks, Jen. Out of fairness, the good thing about watching the eclipse at Sheshan was the setting. The bad part: apparently, Sheshan - and Songjiang District, in general - received more rain than just about anywhere else in the eclipse path. Others had drizzles; we had a straight-up, heavens-open-up, downpour.

So, note to self: for next eclipse, find the nearest Jesuit oupost ... in a desert.
