American things I cannot make up
While in Myrtle Beach, wandering about the major tourist attraction called Broadway at the Beach, we were in search of cold drinks. A member of the information staff directed us to the Kiss Coffeehouse. "You can't miss it," she said so helpfully.
She was right.
I wasn't expecting this, but, then again, I didn't bother to research anything about Myrtle Beach since my primary reason to go was to visit my family there. When she said Kiss Coffeehouse, I really didn't immediately think of the band Kiss. I mean, nothing says I want to rock and roll all night (and party every day) like $5.00 mochas and freshly squeezed lemonade.
