Potential light blogging ahead
Blogspot blogs are blocked from being read as of this afternoon. Usually this means I can still access the blogger editor. However, it appears the editor blogger.com is also blocked right now. I have been able to get through on AOL, but only after a few tries. Several times even with my AOL (which acts sort of like a VPN) I have not been able to get through to blogger.com. In case I totally cannot blog, I'll post in in my Twitter which you can see in the sidebar to the right.
Danwei.org has a current tally of blocked and surprisingly not-blocked websites as of today. I will add to their list one that isn't on their radar. The Vatican website, even in Chinese, is still accessible.
Update 5/16--Still cannot access blogger or blogspot without using my AOL, so while that still works I wanted to add this link to a James Fallows Atlantic article from last year that explains how what we can the Great Firewall works.
