母亲节快乐!
On the way to Mass this morning, my driver asked me if we had Mother's Day in the Meiguo, too. I told him that I think the whole world celebrates Mother's Day today.
Then he asked me if today was the fifth Sunday of Easter. I had to think a moment (uh, just finished fourth week, so, yeah, this is the fifth Sunday) to tell him it was. Then he asked me if there were seven Sundays in Easter. I think someone has been doing internet research to figure out why it is so important for us to take an hour-long ride in Haidian District every Sunday before much of the world is awake.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in Spain, Mother's Day is the first Sunday in May. I know because my husband called his mom last Sunday. :)
Here in the UK, we don't celebrate Mother's Day in May - we have Mothering Sunday on the fourth Sunday in Lent.
