Dancing in the Streets
Two Sunday afternoons, two very different public dance displays in Hong Kong.
The first Sunday we were in Hong Kong, we came upon a Gung Fu club demonstration in Kowloon Park. Or rather, we heard their drums and followed the sound to watch. A few times they treated the crowd to the "Lion Dance."
And then just this past Sunday, we saw a rehearsal for City Contemporary Dance Company's performance of City of K.
Hong Kong--something for everyone.
