WWJD: What would Jesus design

So at first, I was jarred at seeing this plaster statue of The Sacred Heart of Jesus in a Roman Joy furniture store. I mean, Jesus Christ as decorative element?

But then, I guess it is analogous to Pier One and other such retailers in the US selling Buddha and Ganesha as part of a design concept. I have just never seen an image from my own religious tradition used in such a way. Does Jesus really go better with dried flower arrangements and faux-weather-finished wine plaques? The over-stuffed rose-print sofa?

I am contemplating buying it and giving it to someone, anyone, if only as a rescue mission. Maybe because the decor isn't my taste I feel a little more uncomfortable looking at this. Maybe this is the sort of thing the "no graven images" prohibition is meant to prevent.
