If we were in the US for Thanksgiving, no doubt we would be in Pennsylvania surrounded by family and friends preparing for antlered deer season which starts Monday.
And for those family and friends, I would like you to know that Myles is already talking about all the hunting he is going to do when he gets older. No doubt getting to shoot arrows at Grandma's this summer really cultivated his interest in hunting, because already he is asking about when he can get his own bow and sit in a tree. He's also been asking what kind of gun he is going to get to shoot. I'm actually excited about his getting the opportunity to go hunting when he is older. Hunting is really important to Randy's family, and Myles (and probably Brigid, too) will really come to treasure hunting season with the family. And besides, if Myles is hunting, that means we are in the US, for living or for a visit.
