Shanghai Cathedral update--Updated
Last fall I had the opportunity to meet Adam Minter and walk through that beautiful work-in-progress that is St. Ignatius Cathedral. Adam has an update on the progress of the new stained glass windows. His post includes some great photos, taken from rather high up (and for gargoyle fans like us, he was pretty close to the Cathedral's). These windows, though, really are important works of Chinese and Catholic art, as Adam stresses in his post. I hope someone does a beautiful book on this project (hint, hint, Adam).
I can't wait to get to see these in person....perhaps next year sometime. What I did get to see last year alone was quite amazing.
Update Nov 27: Adam has more pictures up.
