Reassurance from a foreigner
Myles finished his last photoshoot yesterday. I have been telling the child-model agents that he can't work again until I'm ready to leave the house, if at all while we still live in Shenzhen. It hasn't been that frequent---only about once or twice a month lately. But yesterday we received a call that Myles is up for another TV commercial and we will know tonight whether or not he will be cast. The commercial tapes tomorrow. I think I will still be able to make it through one more thing like this. It could be a fun experience for Myles. I asked about the product for the commercial.
"Nai fen," his agent told me. Milk Powder.
I wonder what the theme of this commerical is. "Our Milk Powder is so safe, even a foreigner would give it to her child." Sounds like something Don Draper would do.
Update 10:00 am: We found out last night before we went to bed that he didn't get it, and since I slept in until almost 9 am this morning, I think I might not have had the energy to do this anyway.
