Another book we love

Right before Christmas we won a copy of Regina Doman's Angel in the Waters in a book giveaway on Maureen Wittmann's blog. We loved this book very much then, even though some nights it was difficult for us to read it through without choking up.

These days we've been reading it again frequently and thankfully. Now, of course, our reading has an additional dimension. We are no longer reliving the happier days of expecting but living in them again. Myles loves watching the baby in the mommy's tummy develop and grow through the book, interrupting to ask how big our new baby is at that moment. Not being a total TMI anatomy book, it has become our favorite baby-in-mommy's-tummy book. For Myles' age, it is the perfect reference for him, with a beautiful story to boot.
