Latern Festival
Last night was the last night of Spring Festival, Lantern Festival. Unlike other nights of Chinese New Year, we didn't get to eat the special food, the sweet dumplings.
In the morning, though, I ran out of my apartment to see what the burning smell was. In front of one of the neighbor's door was this offering.
Later, after dinner, crowds assembled at the corner under our building for the last big night of fireworks.
I think this was the last night of fireworks at eye level outside our window.
