We interrupt this move

So one major procrastination thing we already did was get up before dawn yesterday and watch the NFC game. We couldn't rouse ourselves out of bed for the Patsy game, which is fine because while I can handle six straight hours of football on any given Sunday, early Monday morning is a different story. Right before the game and at half-time I ran to the Starbucks near the Sports bar showing the game to keep up my energy. I ran into one American woman I know who invited me to return to Starbucks if I got tired of watching football. The Western Pennsylvanian in me asked in disbelief, "How can anyone get tired of watching football?" I think yesterday, though, I could have. And by tired, I mean really tired, not bored.

That Giants game was so tough. We did come thisclose to having the verb "vanderjagt" replaced in our lexicon with "tynes." As in, "All he had to do was make a field goal to win the game but then he vanderjagted it."

If I can put up with all the Manning love (of which i will get much, much less here not having American TV), I think this will be an incredibly fun and intense Super Bowl. I do have some Manning love---Cooper is still my favorite :-).
