In Shenzhen, we hadn't been able to find any Star Wars toys for Myles for his birthday. Even though nearly all our major brand-name toys are made in China, they are not normally sold in Chinese toys stores. Sometimes I stumble into "export quality" toys and try to snatch these up, but they are usually 10-20% more than the US prices. Normally, the toys sold domestically are incredibly cheap in all meanings of that word and easily broken. I think everything I brought back after my first trip to China broke immediately, and some toys broke just in my suitcase. You get what you pay for.

Anyways, I have to admire Myles ingenuity in building his own Star Wars toys.
