Turning the tables

One thing I was looking forward to in Shanghai was being able to enjoy the sights without constantly being asked if someone could take Myles' picture. I feel some sympathy for celebrities who can't get through a day without being hounded, because we have days (especially weekends and holidays) in Shenzhen when we can't go very far without someone either asking to take his picture, or going ahead and taking his picture.





Shanghai, being a big international tourist destination AND having a fairly large foreign population, would give us the opportunity to go to museums and zoos and the like without the hassle. Or so I thought.

In the Shanghai Museum, for instance, Myles was being followed by a bunch of high school girls and boys for quite some time before they asked to take his picture. Just one. Then another. Then just one more. Then.....you get the picture.

When they were done, Myles asked for my phone so he could take a picture of the girls. I know I shouldn't encourage running in a museum, but when Myles tried to take their picture, they scattered.
