Happy Birthday dear Myles


I'll have more later, but I want to thank everyone for the advice on the cake. We did make two cakes, from scratch actually. I used Betty Crocker frosting, because I didn't want to push my luck. Myles and I decorated the cakes, or as we called it, his diptych birthday cake. One side was a kid holding balloons, the other a caterpillar sunning himself.

The cakes look great Jen. I dont blame you for not making homemade frosting its a pain in the butt anyways. I hope Myles has a good party. Have him eat a piece of cake for my birthday too. Its the 20th... of this month. Happy birthday to us..

Crispian is looking at this picture saying, "TWO cakes?!?! Myles gets more sugar than me- no fair!" The cakes look FANTASTIC. It reminds me of Lightbrite, or colored chalk on a blackboard at Clay Street (weren't the chalkboards black there?).

Yes Kate, they were, because that is how they were made in 1912!
Okay, that is when the school was built, not when we attended it.
