Can't put it down
Yesterday at a Page One bookstore in Hong Kong I bought something to read that I am so totally savoring, that I should be embarrassed. I am reading it so slowly and deliberately, and I have difficulty putting it down to do other important things that need to get done around here, like take the towels out of the dryer.
I just bought the September 14 issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Yup, that magazine that I used to breeze through in an hour and then toss aside is now what passes for my favorite reading around here. I am so excited to have the fall preview issue (Randy: Why does it matter? We won't see any of those shows here. Me: It's good to know what we'll buy on DVD next summer). I still don't get the whole Grey's Anatomy/ Private Practice fuss, but that we could see here on like three or four different channels. But "Back to You" looks interesting, if only for the Pittsburgh-ness of it.
