What a great system

In China, when a woman has a baby, frequently her mother drops everything and rushes to the aid of her daughter and her family. The grandmother, so overjoyed at the birth of a grandchild, stays with the family indefinitely, taking on most of the cooking, cleaning, and even childcare duties.
What a great idea.
