Myles and another little girl, Chloe, were recently selected from the anglo child models to be the faces for the launch of a new clothing line in Shenzhen. While it has the unfortunate name Baby Creations, the clothes were so much fun. They had a castle-and-knight theme for boys and a castle-and-princess theme for girls.
I mean, what little sword fighter wouldn't want a sweatsuit that came with its own cape? It was attached to the sweatshirt with a row of buttons along each shoulder seam(in case you want to DIY).
Myles got to spend most of the catalog shoot with a sword (jian) in hand. How did the clothing company know that he would be the most enthusiastic model? And the little girl, Chloe, was also perfect for her outfits. She is a sweet, pink-and-pretty princess kind of girl.
With knights and castles and dragons, certainly there must be wizards, too. This was the only time in the last five catalog shoots that I was really disappointed that we didn't get to keep any of the outfits. We would have totally gotten a lot of wear out of the cape outfit. I'll just have to wait until it hits one of the local department stores.
