It rained....it wasn't that much fun. You didn't miss anything!

It was wonderful ... the neighborhood parade, watching Ratatouille, the burgers from the grill, the fireworks (which we watch sitting on a sidewalk outside of the country club). ... Wish you'd have been here! On the other hand, China is top of my list of places I'd like to visit before I die ... so you're living my dream. That grass really is ALWAYS greener, isn't it? :-D

Uncle T...

Parade in town in the morning. Rain postponed fireworks in eastern PA too.

Can't you get some cool fireworks? Make your own Independence Day celebration.

Hey well we had an awesome 4th. Devin got a bunch a fire works on his business trip a couple of weeks age and we had a heck of a show in the back yard. tons of people and great food as normal. It went off without a hitch until one of the roman candles tipped over and they all shot at Devin point blank. He has some battle wounds but nothing serious. But it was still really nice and we had so much fun. Wish you could have seen it.

We had two parties to attend. One was my colleague, Ira's soiree- Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. I brought a gigantic salad composed from the vegetables delivered from the farm service. The other party was John's step-dad's birthday party. We went downtown to their condo, had a fantastic dinner and ridiculous amounts of desserts and ran down to the 7th street bridge to see the fireworks. Because of the construction at the point, they had the fireworks launching from the Mon. Spectacular as always....
