Now this is what I call a blog
Just when I've been entertaining thoughts of applying for a job at a Starbucks (to help me learn Chinese and, of course, for the 2 free coffee drinks a day which would then effectively double my monthly wage there) some other foreigner beats me to the "live like a real Chinese person" blog. Ben Ross is an American that for the month of May is apprenticing in a Chinese barbershop doing a regular job for regular Chinese wages. I should clarify--the kind of barbershop that actually gives haircuts. Just so fascinating and incredibly well-written.
