Fun with Google traffic
Google traffic can be so much fun. The good news is that you can search Christian Church in Shenzhen English and get to my blog, and I've seen a few variations on that theme, including people looking for information about Catholic Churches in China. That's great! Shenzhen-bound Catholics and other Christians please contact me!!! I wish I got more searches like that.
The fun ones include Mary Bar Shenzhen (which if that is the Mary Bar by our house, that's okay because that one actually isn't a scary bar), but better than that are the ones looking for Chicken Street Shekou or similar searches for prostitution and Shenzhen or Shekou. Lovely. Just. Lovely. Oh yeah, and that Chicken Street Shekou hit on google is at this writing two sites above a website that exists to help you find places like Chicken Street. Whoo-hooo!!!
And hey, speaking of my neighborhood, our movin' on up plans have been put on hold. After finding a perfect apartment at a decent price with a nice garden and convenient location and a nice mix of Chinese, other Asian, and foreigners, and after starting the contract negotiation for the lease, we have learned that Randy's HR department went ahead and signed a year-lease for this apartment that expires in December. Again, lovely. Just. Lovely.
