Stomatology
Yeah, this one is actually in English.
Today I had to go to a local hospital to have a series of tests as part of my application for a one-year multi-entry residence Visa. Myles does not have to get the physical , but I did.
Randy's assistant Meryl accompanied us to the hospital. I had to have blood drawn, a chest x-ray, an EKG...a full battery of odd tests. The ultra-sound techinician freaked out when she couldn't find my gall bladder. I told her that I didn't have it (Mei You), and Meryl translated for me that it had been removed last year. Either I appeared too young for this (Megs....shuddup), or laproscopy hasn't arrived here yet and my scars weren't visible.
One department I had to visit was the Stomatology. On my form it referred to it as the Dental department. I had no idea what Stomatology was, but of course I had to wiki it immediately when I got home. They weren't checking just my teeth, but also for diseases of the mouth.
In ten days I can return to the hospital for the results. Within some days after that I should have my new upgraded Visa.

I wonder if they would locate any athlete's foot fungus in my mouth from the number if times I've had my foot in there.....
