American=Ketchup

There are a host of possible reasons for this, I am sure. But right now it appears all the Starbucks in Shenzhen (at least the three I have been to this week) are out of jam and are serving packets of ketchup with everything. Croissants, poundcake....you name it. Anything that was served with a packet of jam is now served with ketchup.
