A better day


Uncle T took this picture last weekend when we were with a great number of Ambroses and McGronans in Kill Devil Hills. I love it. Myles found some flowers blooming and put one in my hair. Thank you Uncle T. It was in my inbox when I got home from the hospital. It made me smile.

I don't ever recall feeling better about a picture I've taken. My immediate thought after seeing this was that we grieve for what is lost, but we still need to cling to the living. In the midst of unimagineable sadness, all we can do is cling to each other. There is such a loving peace in your countenance. And Myles couldn't be more sweet if he was covered in chocolate.

You have our prayers too.

Jen I've been thinking about you constantly ever since reading the first post about this sad news a few nights ago.
