Hooray for family!

On our way home from our spontaneous trip to NYC, my "uncle on the other side of the state" graciously invited us to spend the night with him and his family. He felt bad that it was a busy night where they weren't planning anything special for dinner. Little did he know that Philly pizza was precisely what I had in mind myself!!!!! His kids, all much older than Myles, completely indulged his every whim. At bedtime I heard Myles thanking their fifth grader, Christian, for being "a monster truck with me."

Thanks Uncle T!!!!

i'm sure it was also cool (and sorta weird) for uncle t to hang out w/ his grandnephew, and the cousins to hang out w/ their cousin once removed.

i think that's how it goes, right?

From the "uncle on the other side of the state", I can not say enough what a joy this was. Myles was wonderful. He never met any of us, and he acted like he's known us his whole life (both years of it). We played soccer, I got hugged, zuberps (you know, the rasberry on the cheek move). I loved the time we spent together.
