Pittsburgh Steeler Time!
This year we did make it to Steelers Camp. It was a few weeks ago, and I was hoping to share all kinds of great pictures. I mean, I do have some great pictures, but I took them on film, and when they made me a photo CD at the CVS, all the pictures look grainy and blurry. Grrr.
HOWEVER, I did manage to get a few on my digital camera, including this one of Crispian holding his Super Bowl program autographed by Clark Haggans and BILL COWHER. Funny, when I asked Crispian if at all he sensed the Cowher Power all I got was an irritated look from him. We were in a great spot at the close of practice to get autographs from the players on their way to the showers, but it was some sort of family day. Most of the players were accompanied by their kids and their wives, and after three weeks of not seeing them I can't fault them for preferring to spend time with them rather than hanging around signing footballs for a bunch of Ynzers. Troy Polamalu, for instance, raced up the hill, not having seen Theodora in weeks. The Cowher autograph was a real surprise, a bonus even. He had cancelled his official session that afternoon, but started signing things while he was on his way up to the residence hall. He even had his own Sharpie!
