Getting Lucky?

(alternate title: I'm lucky, he's lucky, she's lucky, we're all LUCKY!)
Randy has been staying at the dormitory at the plant through most of the week since we left China. His linens are changed regularly, so it wasn't a surprise to find new sheets on the bed early this week. However.....

Well, I think part of it has to do with the impression by Chinese consumers that anything that has English or sometimes French words on it is somehow cool. Of course this sometimes leads to some very interesting verbiage on shirts and linens (remember "I hope it was happy" or "Elegant and Valuable"?). And in general, wishing someone good luck has more to do with good fortune than "Getting Lucky," I think. I hope Randy can respond further.....
