Dumb Plan B questions
These are rattling around in my head.
Is Plan B only allowed to be sold to women, not to men?
How are the pharmacists to assure that the Plan B pills are consumed by the purchaser? Should they have to take them onsite?
I guess I watch too many shows like Desperate Housewives and can imagine a myriad of sinister possibilities.

You cannot tell me that some mother who is 3 months pregnant or something will not try to take this to abort! And what happens then?
It further encourages promiscuity. For a feminist to think this is some sort of freedom is twisted. This license is demeaning and women have never been so used and disrespected as they are now. And motherhood is also disrespected by men and women alike in many cases.
Make no mistake, this is another battle won by evil.
Pray that those of other faiths don't permit this means of 'subordination' (today's second reading) to be confused with what St. Paul encouraged wives to subject themselves to, wreaking havoc if abused for a life time.
And pray too that the first unwilling victim of Jen's hellish scenarios call the domestic violence hotline and prosecute the pants off the perps - perhaps inviting development of legislation along the lines of Connor'r Law, and a usher in a profound change in hearts and minds...

But clearly Plan B does no harm to the public at large. This is well established by years of prescription use in the US and years of OTC use in other countries.
And ethically, Plan B also does no harm. The action of Plan B causes an embryo to be expelled. Research indicates that about 50% of all naturally occuring embyros are routinely expelled. So thousands, THOUSANDS, of five-ten-twenty cell embyros are dumped by nature every day. If every embyro was such a valuable, protect-at-all-cost item, nature surely would have done a better job of managing them. Clearly, in nature embyros are very expendable. Using Plan B simply re-creates conditions for that to happen by choice rather than by chance.
From another perspective, if you think/believe that god=nature, then there are thousands of god-approved abortions every day, since every embyro that nature dumps could be another person.

You've got to be kidding, right? Plan B does no harm to the public at large? Where do I begin?
How about giving men and women more reason to be sexually irresponsible? What about older men who will use this drug as a means to exploit young girls? How about making God's gift of sexuality cheap and demeaning? Plan B makes sex appear to be consequence free even though it is not. Of course, contraception and abortion have already had this impact on people's attitudes towards sex which is why we have so much pornography, STDs, sexual assault, etc.
Your excuse that nature (God) expels embryos so it's OK to use Plan B does not make sense. Lots of people die naturally every day too. Does that mean it's OK to commit suicide, murder, euthanasia? Lots of people get cancer. Should people intentionally do things to cause cancer? Just because God allows some embryos to be expelled doesn't mean it's alright for someone to intentionally expel an embryo. Maybe those embryos were expelled because they were so severely deformed that they did not survive. On the other hand, a woman taking Plan B could abort an embryo that is perfectly healthy and would have survived on its own. Anyway, life begins at conception. An embryo is a tiny, living human being. We have no right to cause harm to it.

That's very funny considering that Plan B was designed for people who are too unintelligent and irresponsible to use birth control before having sex.

until then...just to clarify...Plan B is NOT the same as the RU pill...Plan B will NOT abort an already established fetus...it will only prepare the womb to NOT accept an embryo....
