I have to admit I'm pleased with this move

As someone who is occassionally dependent upon The Goodnight Show on Sprout, I have to say I am not sad to see Melanie go. I find her interludes annoying (I think they should just play the shows back-to-back with no commentary or crafts). I don't think Myles will even miss her. He just wants to see Thomas. As for the reasons behind PBS' decision, BRAVO. I know; it raises the bar for children's show hosts to only those with squeaky-clean backgrounds. But we are talking about children. Is it too much to ask for people involved in children's entertainment to respect, you know, childhood?
