How many days until the Steelers kick-off?

So since the All-Star break the Pirates have only dropped two. The five victories (including the soaking wet one in Miami I watched on TV last night) were remarkable for some outstanding defense, some incredible productive hits (RBI's instead of stranded runners...what a concept)...just great baseball. What has gotten into these guys? All kinds of thoughts of honor and motivation entered my head until it was all brought home to me last night while I was watching the game. One of the TV announcers started to talk positively about Jeremy Burnitz's prospects of gettting traded. About how his performance of late shows he's a great off-the-bench veteran for those teams looking for one. Oh yeah, you know your team is in sorry shape when the announcers talk more about who is playing well enough to get traded than the game.
The trade deadline is approaching. These guys aren't winning to win. They are showing off to get themselves on a team in contention.
