Watching the Yankees Tigers game right now
I wish I could have seen the Pirates-Brewers series :-(
But Jason Giambi just hit a home run. I wasn't really paying attention until I heard words I actually recognized..."Hasta La Vista Baby!"
My ESPN comes out of India, so some of the programming, like Sportscenter, is in English. However most of the sporting events (including the lumberjack competition earlier this week) are overdubbed by Chinese play-by-play and color commentary. One of the good things about having Indian ESPN is that some of the old news in sports in the US is still new news because they probably just put it on the air when it fits. My first week here I was treated to highlights of the "recently ended" American NFL season and playoffs. I got here right after Easter. Not that I minded reliving the playoffs and Super Bowl. :-)
