New words

Along with all other expected questions from a two-and-a-half year old, Myles now will, out of the blue, ask how to say something "in Putonghua." The other day it was bubbles and nose boogies. Let me tell you the latter was the fun one to ask about.

You probably know by now, but while English has endless different words for every single bodily effluent, excretion and exfoliat, a single Chinese words works for pretty much all of them, prefixed by the particlar body part of origin, whether eye, ear, nose or other parts.
