MTV....the cool way to learn English?
A few weeks ago I blogged that I saw a commercial for MTV that claimed it was the cool way to learn English. Over the weekend as I was flipping between CNN and ESPN and I actually caught a few minutes of their English-language teaching program. It's for-real.
What they do is show clips from popular English-language video and then break them down phrase by phrase and then show the video again. Of course, it is the kind of English that will be so helpful when you need to get a job that requires English.
